What we stand behind

The warranty

90 days on labour, 365 days on parts, genuine OEM parts. Stated in full here so there is nothing to read on the back of an invoice.

A warranty is only worth what the diagnosis behind it was worth.

What the cover means

If the fault we repaired returns inside 90 days, we come back and put it right at no charge — no second diagnostic fee, no labour, no call-out. If the part we fitted fails inside 365 days, it is replaced. Both clocks start on the day the work is completed, not on the day you called.

Genuine OEM parts. That is what makes the parts term possible: an OEM component carries the manufacturer's own supply terms behind it, and we can pass that through. An aftermarket equivalent would not let us promise a year, which is the whole reason we do not fit them.

What the cover does not include

  • A different fault on the same appliance. A new symptom is a new diagnosis, at the flat $129.
  • Damage from a later event — a surge, a flood, an impact, or work carried out by someone else after our visit.
  • Wear parts consumed in normal use: filters, bulbs, and gaskets replaced as maintenance rather than as a repair.
  • An appliance moved to a different address after the repair, unless the new address is still inside the 40-mile service radius.
  • A repair you asked us to carry out against our written recommendation. We will note that on the estimate at the time, not afterwards.

How to claim it

Call Ballast Point Appliance on (904) 604-7755 and say the appliance is back with the same symptom. We keep the invoice, the part number and the date on file, so you do not need to produce paperwork. A warranty visit is booked into the same working hours as any other visit.

This is our warranty, not the manufacturer's

The terms on this page are given by Ballast Point Appliance and are ours to honour. They are not a manufacturer warranty, they do not extend or replace one, and nothing here is offered on Viking's behalf.

Ballast Point Appliance is an independent appliance repair company. We are not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by Viking or its parent company. All brand names and model numbers are the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify the appliances we service.

If your appliance is still inside its original manufacturer warranty, say so when you call. Depending on the fault it may be better handled under that cover, and we will tell you that on the phone rather than after taking a diagnostic fee.

The order of things

Before the warranty starts

  1. Flat $129 diagnostic, credited toward the repair.
  2. You get a written estimate before any part is ordered or any labour is billed.
  3. You approve it, in writing or on the phone, and the part is ordered.
  4. The repair is completed and the two warranty clocks start.
